In the early
1990s, the children's cable network Nickelodeon produced a
spate of television series that were funny, smart, and never
pandered to--or insulted the intelligence of--its
predominantly pre-teen audience. The girl-powered comedy
CLARISSA EXPLAINS IT ALL was one of the most beloved Nick
offerings, deftly capturing the pre-teen zeitgeist of the
early '90s with charm to burn. Melissa Joan Hart (SABRINA
THE TEENAGE WITCH) shot to fame as the series' spunky
teenage heroine Clarissa Darling, who maneuvered through the
